Digital Garden

Day 5: Goal: Set up a push button function to trigger the tweet program to run.

Set up a Twitter account to use for the Raspberry Pi, apply for the developer status in order to not use personal twitter for this project. Done!

Screen record Raspberry Pi? (Not yet)

What I did do, was figure out how to remote into my Raspberry Pi with my iPhone, using VNC Connect. Apparently it’s been around for a couple of years, I didn’t know. I’d like to keep up on some of the latest Raspberry Pi stuff.

I’m thinking it might be interesting to run this website/blog off of a Raspberry Pi. BTW the Twitter thing is working great.

Day 4: Fix the box
Downloaded Raspian to the Raspberry Pi, then did some updating of the system.
-Scrot to take screenshots
Then I got the camera working and added an annotation to the photos it takes.

Finally was able to get the python program to hook into Twitter and send a tweet.

Day 3: set up an account on raspberrypi.org

Push button take a photo/ then tweet it.

This might be an interesting twist: a motion sensor to take photos.

I wonder if it would be useful to install raspberry pi Linux onto an old pc laptop I have.

Also could create a dashboard for sense inputs.

Day 2:
Then continue to assemble. First, template on cardboard.
Songs while I did this:

Then I put it into place, but I underestimated the strength of the the wood. ðŸ˜žðŸ¤·‍♂️

Day 1:
Was granted permission to use wood from the Community Garden. I cleaned it up, started cutting, and started assembling.
