I am simple minded in many ways. I am also foolish, especially when I act like a know-it-all.

Humility- admit what you don’t know

Beauty: look for it and acknowledge it

Foundation: The boring basics

Presence: Breath and awareness

Walk the dog. Boring, but did it.

Ride to work.

Some boring Foundational basics:

I spent some time entering grades. Boring, but worthwhile.

I followed up with some students regarding their schedules. Helpful I hope.

I set a timer to work on different projects.

I took away points from students who kept getting their phones out.

I graded some papers, then graded more and helped guide some students to memorize poems.

I went to wrestling practice and took video.

Ride home

Eat lots of food, clean up the kitchen. Shower, edit the wrestling video.

This was a pretty boring and uneventful day, and that’s probably a good thing. I’m thankful for the day I had.
